Terry McAuliffe Begins Groundbreaking Effort to Reduce Donations from New York City

At the most recent Democratic gubernatorial debate, Terry McAuliffe responded to a questioner, “I’m from upstate . . . the real New York.”
Virginia Republicans are recalling when a McCain aide said the candidate was doing well in the “real Virginia,” and the Democratic party responded with expressions of outrage so overwrought that they could easily be mistaken for seizures.
Rather than pointing out the billionth example of media double standards, I would just ask McAuliffe, “Where is the fake New York?”
