For Iowans, Not Much Bowl Conflict For Caucus Night

Iowa caucus organizers lucked out a bit, as neither the Iowa State University Cyclones or the University of Iowa Hawkeyes college football teams made it to a bowl game this year. When they do, the Des Moines Register says, up to 40,000 Iowans travel to the bowl game.

Any Iowa-based fans of the University of Kansas Jayhawks or the Virginia Tech University Hokies will have to choose between supporting their preferred presidential candidate or their team, as the Orange Bowl starts at 8 p.m. on caucus night. But I guess that’s what portable radios are for.
