How Are Republicans Doing in Deeply Republican States?

For obvious reasons, the Oklahoma governor’s race hasn’t gotten a lot of attention this cycle; a new poll confirms the blowout everyone suspected:

New poll numbers are out in the race for Oklahoma’s Governor and it shows Congresswoman Mary Fallin’s lead is growing over Lieutenant Governor Jari Askins. The numbers are from The Oklahoma Poll sponsored by the Tulsa World. Soonerpoll.com surveyed 753 Oklahomans with a voting history, 56% said they would vote for Fallin and 38% said they would vote for Askins.
