Familiar Faces in Edwards’s First Ad

In other Edwards news, Rick Klein notes that the candidate’s first television advertisement, “We the people,” uses a succession of faces and voices of seemingly average Americans appearing on camera pleading with Democratic lawmakers not to back down on Iraq.

Among the “average Americans” featured in the ad? A Democratic political consultant, and another is a top fundraiser for the Human Rights Campaign.
Kind of reminds me of that Ben Cardin ad, where he’s addressing another seemingly random enthusiastic, receptive crowd that turns out to be made up of his campaign staffers.
