Considering how frequently Obama breaks promises from earlier in his presidency or the campaign trail, it almost feels unfair to hold him to statements from all the way back in 2006. Ancient history, of course.
It’s not even surprising anymore. All statements from Barack Obama come with an expiration date. All of them.
And if the Obama administration were really proud of this move, they wouldn’t have announced it just as the president leaves the country for six days.
