Creigh Deeds Must Hate Post-Debate Press Conferences

This election would be going a lot better for Creigh Deeds if he could call the cops when reporters kept asking him an inconvenient question.

After one debate, Deeds tied himself up in knots trying to explain how he didn’t support a tax increase, but everything was on the table, but he might raise certain taxes, but he might not, etc. Last night, after the final debate, he was asked about whether Virginia might attempt to opt out of a public option on health care, and he offered another clear, direct answer:

Say this for John Kerry: “I actually voted for it before I voted against it” was at least succinct.
