This year, the state of New Jersey is creating the post of lieutenant governor. Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie has made his selection of a running mate, Monmouth County Sheriff Kim Guadagno.
The incumbent made his choice earlier: “Gov. Jon Corzine is close to naming Randal Pinkett as his choice for a lieutenant governor running mate, according to a report in The Asbury Park Press. Pinkett, 34, is best known as the Season 4 winner of ‘The Apprentice,’ NBC’s hit reality television show featuring Donald Trump.”
This is after Jon + Kate turned him down, apparently.
