David Moore of OpenCongress, a project of the pro-transparency Participatory Politics Foundation, has written a post on the significance of Rep. Paul Ryan’s opposition to SOPA. This is very, very good news, and further indication that Ryan is developing a compelling vision for the Republican future. The GOP should be on the side of innovators and entrepreneurs, not incumbents looking to use the power of government to freeze out potential competitors.
