Why Chrysler is Failing

The NY Times reviews the 2009 Dodge Challenger:

Sheep in Wolf’s Clothing

Ouch. From the review:

Still, if you ignore the engine and the cosmetics, the SE is a competent car. It has enough power for highway merging, the transmission is old-school (with just four forward gears) but smooth, the ride is comfortable and the retro gauges are gorgeous. The car seats five, with adequate legroom front and back. (It is almost 6 inches longer than the original Challenger.)

Great news. A car that can merge. Certainly worthy of taxpayer financing, no?
