A Nuclear Cascade of Approval

In a recent article for inFOCUS, I argue that nuclear power must be a growing part of our energy supply, if we want to meet our bulk-energy demands safely and reliably while also reining in emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases.
Fortunately, more and more people are getting on board with nuclear power as its economic and environmental virtues become more widely known. The cover story of the special report on energy in today’s WSJ reports on nuclear energy’s growing public approval, while addressing the three main concerns that stand in the way of a nuclear-power expansion: cost, safety, and waste. It’s worth a read.
