More on Iceland’s Polar Bears

Here’s another article that, of course, blames global warming for the polar bears showing up in Iceland, but there’s also something new:

“The bear is in the north of Iceland near the town of Saudarkrokkur,” Rax Axelsson, a photographer with Iceland’s newspaper of reference, Morgunbladid, told AFP.
“The bear is living off of eggs and birds” and does not appear to be hungry, he added.

Imagine that. Hungry polar bears won’t starve, they’ll actually find other food to eat. [And here I thought they lived on a strict diet of sea ice.] Amazing the way nature works, isn’t it?
