Is Twitter Good for Anything?

My initial impressions of Twitter were negative. The idea of “tweeting” tiny little bits of information to “followers” seemed inconsequential. I couldn’t care less if some rock star just tweeted about his new concert tour.

In today’s Pope Center piece, however, Jenna Robinson points out that it’s easy to get a lot of useful information about higher education via Twitter.

And that answers my question.
