Student Obama’s Ties to Bigtime Saudi Adviser

When 25-year-old Barack Obama applied to Harvard Law School, he sought a letter of recommendation from Percy Sutton, the former borough president of Manhattan. The person who approached Sutton on Obama’s behalf, reports Kenneth Timmerman, was Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, an orthodox Muslim, a black nationalist, an international deal-maker, an educator, and an outspoken enemy of Israel.

Moreover, al-Mansour was been a key adviser to a Saudi billionaire who had mentored the founding members of the Black Panthers. Timmerman says that Obama met al-Mansour while he was a student at Columbia University in the 1980s. According to Sutton, al-Mansour raised money for Obama to go to law school.
“I am not surprised to learn about this,” said Niger Innis, spokesman of the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE). “It is clear that Barack Obama’s ties to the left are familial, generational, and have lasted for several years.”
Apparently there’s more to Obama’s rapport with the Muslim world than he has so far acknowledged in his campaign.
