I’m not sure which is more absurd: Equating The Sopranos, one year out, with the Beatles — or equating the Beatles, 40 years out, with Shakespeare.
We’ve had 40 times the amount of time to digest the Beatles as we have The Sopranos, and only ten times as long to digest Shakespeare as the Beatles, so I guess the former?
