An Opportunity

The National Journalism Center (NJC) is now accepting intern applicants for its Fall 2007 session from August 27 to November 16..  The NJC has provided free 12-week internships with Washington-area media outlets for 30 years.  Aside from apprenticing with established Washington journalists, these internships include a weekly speakers series, supervision and instruction by our academic director, a Computer Assisted Research and Reporting (CARR) “boot camp,” and many networking opportunities.  The program is free, and there is also a $1000 per month scholarship available for accepted applicants.
