Ivy League Athletes Caught Cheating in Sports Ethics Class

Last semester, 64 varsity athletes at Dartmouth College were caught cheating in a sports ethics class designed in part to help athletes struggling with their studies. After getting caught, many of the athletes were suspended for a term, although the professor of the sports ethics course, in an interview with a local newspaper, said that “after many sleepless nights” he decided to not give failing grades, but rather drop the cheaters’ marks by a full letter grade.
