Two Duke professors have been approved by the Virginia State Council for Higher Education in their effort to found a for-profit Founders University near Lynchburg. Yes, they’re Randians. They pledge to leave their “personal convictions” at “the door” but clearly aren’t leaving their pocketbooks there. They’re looking to buy the Merritt Hutchinson Estate; I guess Midas Mulligan’s wasn’t free.
