Yet Another Katrina Myth Debunked

First it was the ridiculous idea that Bush’s budget cuts to the Army Corps of Engineers caused the breakdown of the New Orleans levees. It was actually faulty construction, unrelated to Bush’s budget.
Then it was the widely reported rumors that people were being raped and murdered by the dozens in the Superdome and Convention Center. They turned out to be false.
Now, Newsbusters rounds-up another Katrina-related media-exaggeration: that the flood waters turned New Orleans into a “toxic soup.” Read the whole thing.
