Speaking of Guns …

… and of why we need more economists in journalism, Alex Tabarrok of GMU wrote a great op-ed on Oakland’s failed gun-buyback program here.

And, in a nice bit of reporting, he notes on Marginal Revolution:

The police offered up to $250 for a gun “no questions asked, no ID required.”  The first people in line?  Two gun dealers from Reno with 60 cheap handguns.
