Former McCain adviser Mike Murphy was on with Matthews and Olbermann at around 10:05 — and said that he thought the Clintons would vote for McCain. Matthews then asked if Murphy would stake his reputation as a pundit on this. There was some arguing back and forth with Murphy trying to defend his ridiculous comment when Olbermann, in an angry voice said, “Let’s wrap him up, alright?” Matthews ended by accusing Murphy of delivering Republican ad copy rather than punditry.
Republicans are allowed on MSNBC – but only if their opinions, however off the wall, are shared by Olbermann and Matthews?
