According to DirecTV’s spokesman, their latest ad featuring fictional boxer “The Truth” was pulled not because of its content, but because of the “R rated dialogue” in the comments on the video calling it racist and promoting violence. Personally, I actually find this ad less offensive than DirecTV’s ad featuring a fake Russian oligarch. And stick around until the end when “Half Truth” punches the butler.
