CNN’s Anderson Cooper skewers Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt, who refuses to answer Cooper’s questions about the Obama campaign’s “personal attacks” on Romney, recent statements by Newark mayor Cory Booker, and — most importantly — whether it is hypocritical for Obama’s campaign to vilify Romney’s work in private equity at Bain Capital, while holding fundraisers with the heads of private-equity firms, such as the Blackstone Group, which has worked with Bain. “You’re not answering any of the questions,” Cooper observes just two minutes into the interview. Perhaps that’s because there are no answers.
