While National Review Online is a forum for center-right thought, there is no party line. Both regular and visiting contributors spar over both issues and individuals — and both in angry and dispassionate fashion. I never quite know who will weigh in or on what, only that what is posted will be sensible and attuned to what has worked in the past. So NRO is a clearinghouse of traditional ideas that deserves our support, especially in the present age, when there is no longer received wisdom, and everything is in flux.
