You Can’t Change a Jaguar’s Spots

Jaguars don’t want to live in the United States. Pressure from environmental groups, however, has persuaded the federal government to commit itself to preserving the jaguar’s so-called habitat. Writing in the NYT, a jaguar expert says this is costly and crazy.
