Jonah, I’m certainly with you on the “youth vote.”  Like I said, it’s an extremely small group which, as you point out, has never really amounted to much.  However, I do think it’s interesting to look at how that group is using technology, the web, etc. right now–not as some Big New Thing That’s Sweeping The Nation, but as an indicator of how technology will be used in campaigning in the future.  The cohort that makes up the “youth vote” today will eventually grow up, and some of those uses will eventually move out of the over-hyped tiny subset of activist youth and into the general voting populace.
