Joe Biden’s political travel schedule is lighter than his two immediate predecessors at the same point in the midterm campaign, highlighting the challenge unpopular presidents face trying to stave off congressional losses. . . .
His only travel scheduled for this week will be to Pennsylvania, which he’s often described as his home state, where Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman leads the race for a Senate seat over Republican Mehmet Oz.
We’re 20 days from Election Day, and the president is doing only one campaign event this week? As I have been saying all autumn, either the president is too unpopular to be of any use to Democrats in practically any of the key races, or at nearly 80 years of age he physically can’t handle the travel schedule, or both.
