Winship on Poverty

As Republicans think through what a conservative approach to fighting poverty and enabling mobility looks like, they would be very wise to learn from the work of the Manhattan Institute’s Scott Winship. He follows the facts where they lead, acknowledges the areas where data are lacking and (most importantly) the questions that data could never resolve for us, and cares little for whether his conclusions might make some on the right or left uncomfortable. This article of his today on how the War on Poverty has gone and where we should turn next is a great example. Well worth  your while.
