In Which I, a New Crunchy, Report From Whole Foods

There was a very nice-looking organic chicken there, and happily it had been brought to Whole Foods from a farm in Dutchess County in New York, so I could buy it in good conscience because it was locally grown. But then I found out the wife of the farmer didn’t breast-feed her third child, and I was so enraged I stomped out of the store. What is this country coming to!
