So it’s 1:00pm on the day before the election. We’re inside the final 48 hours. Every moment counts. Where is House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer? Not out barnstorming for Democratic candidates or firing up his troops on the stump, but rather sitting in the Capitol Coffee Shop in the Capitol basement, clad in a comfortable argyle sweater and having a serious-looking conversation with a pair of individuals. Odd place to see the Democratic majority leader on the eve of the coming election. Or, if things go the way some are predicting, perhaps not.
