The Democrats, given the public mood, should have been favored to win this election, but they are going so far left I’m not sure they will.The Democrats are now a censorship (think Fairness Doctrine); Censure (think Russ Feingold); Surrender (think Iraq legislation); Lawsuit crazy (think opposition to the flying imams legislation); Impeachment (think John Conyers); Amnesty party. In that mix, you also get higher taxes as well.
And, as my friend Bill Kristol pointed out yesterday, not one of the Democratic party candidates are going to the DLC convention this summer, they are, however, all going to the Daily Kos convention.
