Where Are the Men?

Rich is back in the Editors host seat, and he, Michael, Charlie, and Dominic are finishing out the week with a fascinating discussion on masculinity. This is a trending topic, and our panelists have a number of insightful points to make.

Dominic keeps it in perspective, saying, “It’s just important to keep in mind that problems that we see with masculinity are not new. . . . Human nature doesn’t change. It always is weird in these conversations, because it’s never quite clear when the good old days were. When was it that masculinity was right? And when did we stray from that? . . . The work that Nick Eberstadt does and that Richard Reeves do are some of the most important social-science work that’s going on today. And they’re pointing to very real problems. But it’s just important to remember, they’re not new problems.”

Charlie and Michael also chime in with their own insight on this essential topic. Listen below for the whole conversation.
