So, I had my “debate” with Nick Gillespie last night. It was a good time. The audience seemed to have a fine time and the AFF guys were gracious and fun-loving host. But, oh my stars and garters, what an odd argument we had. And what strange, strange conversations I had with some libertarians afterwards. I’ve gott a crazy busy day ahead (this my last day in DC before I’m gone for the Summer and I start my semi-traditional travelogue G-Filing). I’ll try to recap later, but for now: The conservative-libertarian schism is as healthy as it has ever been, at least among our little subculture here in Washington.
