This may be an odd thing to say online, but I’m not sure there was an overwhelming need for the president to do an online town meeting today. Had he skipped the press conference Tuesday and done the cyber event instead . . . that might make more sense. Presumably the online Q&A would have been a more meaningful act, the POTUS making innovative use of this (relatively) new tool. But when we just heard from him in primetime, what’s the point?
