Us-Cons Vs. Brit-Cons

ere is yet another of those fundamental splits we notice from time to time

between U.S. conservatives and the British variety.

When a U.S.-con contemplates Tony Blair, he feels a warm flush of gratitude

and affection. When a Brit-con does so, he feels his finger- and toe-nails

beginning to crack and split, and the enamel peeling from his teeth

(assuming that, after a few years attention from British dentists, he has

any tooth enamel left).

I’m with you on this one, Andrew.
