Here’s a small irony. Ahmed Akkari was one of the Danish Muslims who did the most to foment trouble for Denmark in the Middle East over those cartoons (there’s a bit about him here), but that didn’t stop him turning to his adoptive country for help when it came to getting out of Beirut.
Oh well.
