Two Other Races to Watch Tomorrow

In Maryland’s fourth district, Rep. Al Wynn (D) is in the fight of his life against Donna Edwards, his very liberal opponent from 2006 and the former executive director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence. This is the wealthiest minority-majority congressional district in the United States.

Rep. Wayne Gilchrest (R-Md.), long considered to be too liberal for his Eastern Shore district, is in a fierce three-way race with state Sen. E.J. Pipkin and Andy Harris, the preferred candidate of the Club for Growth.

Both races are close. Wynn nearly lost to Edwards last time around. Over at Real Clear Politics, Reid Wilson frames both races, on the Right and Left, as a test for just how much voters are craving “change” this year.
