Donald Trump won over a lot of conservative voters in 2016 by making two promises: He would defend the right to life of unborn children, and would move the federal courts rightward. Some conservatives, like me, were skeptical, but he followed through on both pledges. Cementing a conservative supermajority on the Supreme Court is one of his greatest accomplishments as president, as is the end of Roe v. Wade that doing so helped bring about.
As he campaigns for another term, though, he is undermining both accomplishments . . .
