Tony Snow’s Uplifting Gift

The Basillica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on the campus of Catholic University was a full house today with family, friends, colleagues from media and politics, and fans. Tony’s youngest daughter wore a beautiful magenta dress which seemed, even through her heartbreaking tears, so appropriate. His time on earth was briefer than anyone wanted it to be but he lived it with, as homilist Fr. David O’Connell of CUA, put it, with “passion for what is good and true and right.”

Tony’s brother remembered his smile which said, as he put it, “Life is good. I am going to enjoy it. And so should you.” He did. And he was right. Thanks, Tony.
