This Has to Stop

The second assassination attempt against Trump seems likely to fade quickly compared with the first; I guess we’ve gotten used to people trying to kill him, and an assassination attempt that doesn’t result in a gunshot wound doesn’t rate. Plus, the media really don’t want to get distracted from their frenzy over the cat-eating controversy. This is crazy, of course. We still need to find out more about what happened, but it makes zero sense that someone with a rifle was able to get in any proximity to Trump after what happened in Butler, which was a tragedy, but could have been a national trauma of epic proportions.
