Leftist students are full of moral certainty about their causes and devoid of tolerance for those who disagree with them. In recent weeks, that has been on display with students (and faculty) tearing down posters showing Israelis who were kidnapped by Hamas. Sympathy for innocent victims? Nope — they’re on “the wrong side of history” and deserve none.
And here’s another instance. Students at Michigan Tech put up displays about the Berlin Wall, celebrating its demolition. That “triggered” a student who showed up with spray paint to deface the displays, and then he decided to do his best to wreck them. Here’s the video.
Bear in mind that Michigan Tech is not a lefty school for social justice warriors, but this kid was utterly certain that celebrating the fall of the Berlin Wall was bad.
