All it took for Democrats to avoid getting in the terrible fix they’ve put themselves and the country in was not to lie about Joe Biden’s mental and physical state. If they’d told the truth and acknowledged what everyone was seeing in real time, it’s very likely he would have been forced not to run again.
But they thought they could spin, deny, and gaslight their way around reality, and reality finally became undeniable tonight, even for them.
