The Bottom-Heaviness of Godzilla

In explaining why he doesn’t normally enjoy Godzilla movies, Rich wrote, “I’ve never liked Godzilla as a monster — he’s too awkwardly bottom-heavy, among other things.”

Then, he moves on to talk about other aspects of the movie. But I find myself intrigued by the idea that Rich has a theory of proper monster-body proportionality against which Godzilla comes up short.

Rich, can you please elaborate further on what makes for a rightly proportioned monster?
