Sen. McCain advocated for more troops AND a new counterinsurgency strategy since at least November 2003. He called for this repeatedly, but two major speeches — one in 2005 at AEI and another in 2003 at Council on Foreign Relations — show his thinking on this most clearly.
Please correct Mr. Ledeen and, frankly, just about everyone else at the Corner over the past two days.
