George Soros said in Davos today, “To tax the banks when they are doing everything they can to get out of a hole is the exact opposite of the policy you are trying to pursue.”
What of other businesses, including small businesses and their owners? What of other employers? And employees? What of families? Is not raising their taxes “when they are doing everything they can to get out of a hole” equally mistaken?
