This week’s Need to Know podcast is a good one for Karl Rove, George W. Bush, and (surprise!) Barack Obama. Jay demonstrates that he never forgets the most important arguments about big subjects (or small ones for that matter). We ponder the fate of SDI, whether the Republican Party was destroyed by the Iraq war, nation building, preemption, Obamacare, and whether Jay or I should ever stand for election. I heartlessly sandbag Jay on air about a music podcast. I want to do one. He’s been resisting. But when you’ve got a musical encyclopedia on your hands, it would be a crime to let it go to waste, right?
