OK, maybe not quite “drop dead,” but the RNC this week will vote on a resolution rejecting the president’s legalization approach to immigration. As one committeeman said, “If some see in this that we aren’t toeing the line 100 percent, then so be it,” which is pretty close to “drop dead” coming from a “normally reliable ally” of the president.
