SOTU Hilarity

Presumably, a sense of decorum kept senators and representatives from rolling in the aisles in laughter when the president uncorked this line: “The greatest nation on Earth cannot keep conducting its business by drifting from one manufactured crisis to the next.”

It’s unlikely, however, that decorum prevented the mullahs in Tehran from doubling over after this one: “The leaders of Iran must recognize that now is the time for a diplomatic solution [regarding their quest for nuclear weapons], because a coalition stands united in demanding that they must meet their obligations.”

It’s a good bet Benjamin Netanyahu isn’t similarly impressed with the president’s comic genius.
