Time (before the end of this week?) will tell, but I think A.G. the AG is a non-factor in SCOTUS considerations. Don’t forget all the necessary recusal problems, for starters. And then consider he won’t be an easy sell, even if he is considered moderate, to either the Left or the Right. Remember the “torture” stuff? There are so many reasons….That and I’m having a trust-but-verify moment with the president on this. I think he gets how much it matters.
