Showing Skin

Today’s Between the Covers podcast is with Stephen Lawhead, author of The Skin Map and many other titles. We discuss what the new book is about, whether he regards himself as a “Christian” novelist, how he found inspiration in “ley lines,” and why he left Nebraska to live in England.

(My portion of the audio has a strange echo that comes in and out. I sound like the villain in a bad SF movie. Sorry about that–we couldn’t figure out how to eliminate it. The good news is that Lawhead comes through clearly, even though he called in from across the ocean. He’s the star of the show. Oh, the mysteries of the interwebs.)

John J. Miller, the national correspondent for National Review and host of its Great Books podcast, is the director of the Dow Journalism Program at Hillsdale College. He is the author of A Gift of Freedom: How the John M. Olin Foundation Changed America.
