Education Secretary Arne Duncan told Morning Joe this morning that he’s a supporter of same-sex marriage.
This comes after the vice president announced on Meet the Press Sunday morning that he is “absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women, and heterosexual men and women marrying another are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties.”
How about we start asking if there is anyone in the Obama administration who supports protecting traditional marriage? That picture — and the administration’s record of refusing to support federal marriage law — could more fully flush out the president’s position.
